How much did Borussia-Park cost to build?

Borussia-Park is the football stadium Borussia Mönchengladbach built to replace its old Bökelberg ground. Contractor HOCHTIEF began stadium construction on 13 November 2002, and the club opened the new venue on 30 July 2004. The club's archived stadium facts record EUR 86.9 million for the stadium and site together: EUR 76.7 million for construction and related building costs plus EUR 10.2 million for land and site development. These are components of the same EUR 86.9 million total, not extra spending to add on top. A 2024 club announcement lists 54,042 spectators for a sold-out league match; older publications give different capacities because seating, standing and international-match configurations have changed. The stadium and adjacent training and club facilities remain in use; since July 2026 the sponsored venue name is ista-Borussia-Park.
