How much did Broadhurst Park cost to build?
Broadhurst Park is the supporter-owned FC United of Manchester's football ground and community facility in Moston. Construction began in November 2013, and the stadium opened on 29 May 2015 with a friendly against Benfica. The club reports GBP 6.3 million for the completed facility, financed partly by GBP 2 million of community shares, other fan fundraising and public and charitable grants. A later stadium-magazine account quoted by the club gives GBP 6.5 million in construction costs; the figures should not be presented as an exact audited final-account sequence. FC United currently lists a 4,900-person ground capacity, which includes both seating and standing terraces; earlier club material described a lower 4,400 capacity.
