How much did the expansion of Eppenberg Tunnel cost?
The Eppenberg Tunnel is the new double-track railway tunnel of about 3.1 km between Aarau and Olten in Switzerland, the centrepiece of the SBB four-track expansion Olten to Aarau, which opened with the timetable change on 13 December 2020. Swiss television SRF wrote on 10 December 2020 that 855 million Swiss francs had been built into the tunnel project.
