How much did Estádio Cidade de Barcelos cost to build?
The Estadio Cidade de Barcelos is the 12,046-seat football stadium of Gil Vicente F.C. in the parish of Vila Boa, north of Barcelos, Portugal, owned by the municipality of Barcelos and inaugurated on 30 May 2004 in a friendly between Gil Vicente and Nacional de Montevideo. The local newspaper O Minho wrote in May 2024 that it was an investment of more than 20 million euros paid in full by the municipality, while Wikipedia gives close to 22 million including exterior fittings and land.
