How much did Estadio Monumental de la UNSA cost to build?
Estadio Monumental de la UNSA, also called Estadio Arequipa or Virgen de Chapi, is a university-owned football and athletics venue in Arequipa and the home ground of FBC Melgar. Construction began in 1991; its first stage was in use by 1993, and the completed venue was formally inaugurated on 30 July 1995. A former UNSA rector described the original project as a US$7 million investment, but the university had not completed a final works settlement as of 2016.
