How much did the renovation of Kuressaare linnastaadion cost?
Kuressaare Linnastaadion is the municipal athletics and football stadium on Saaremaa island, Estonia, used by FC Kuressaare as well as local sports clubs. A contemporary stadium-opening programme preserved by the local newspaper dates its formal inauguration to 31 August 1958. The cost question on this page is not about that original construction: it concerns the Kuressaare council's 2013 plan for the 2013-2014 renovation, which allocated EUR 1,409,611 for 2013 and EUR 1,131,297 for 2014. Those two planned investments total EUR 2,540,908; they are not a certified final project outturn and exclude any unquantified 2012 preparatory spending. FC Kuressaare returned to the freshly renovated ground for a home match on 18 July 2014. Estonia's sports register records a 400-metre track, 100-by-60-metre natural-grass football field and 1,000 permanent spectator seats. The venue remains in sporting use.
