How much did LaGrave Field cost to build?

LaGrave Field was the minor league baseball ballpark in Fort Worth, Texas, rebuilt in 2001 and 2002 by the businessman Carl Bell on the site of the 1926 Panther Park for the Fort Worth Cats, with 4,100 fixed seats, groundbreaking on 3 December 2001 and opening on 23 May 2002, planned as a temporary site until an USD 8 million stadium that never materialized. The Tarrant Regional Water District took ownership in 2019 after the Cats ended in 2014, voted in June 2024 to tear it down and began demolition in February 2025 with USD 200,000 budgeted. Wikipedia gives the cost of building the ballpark as USD 4 million.
