How much did the redevelopment of LaGuardia Airport cost?
The LaGuardia Airport redevelopment is the program of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey that rebuilt the airport in New York City with a new Terminal B of 1.3 million square feet, opened in phases from 2018 to 2022 through a public-private partnership with LaGuardia Gateway Partners, a new Terminal C of 1.3 million square feet opened by Delta Air Lines in June 2022, and access, road and airside improvements. The Port Authority describes it as an USD 8 billion redevelopment, the first complete rebuild of a US airport in over 25 years, two-thirds financed by its private partners.
