What was the budget for the new terminal at New Orleans airport?
The new terminal of Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (MSY) is the terminal with 35 aircraft gates on three concourses, two parking garages, surface parking and centralised security, designed by Cesar Pelli and built on the north side of the airfield to replace the 1959-era terminal, approved by the New Orleans Aviation Board in December 2015 and completed in November 2019. The airport's own page gives the budget as USD 1 billion, while Wikipedia says the terminal opened in November 2019 at a cost of USD 1.3 billion after a plan approved at USD 598 million.
