How much does Nashville International Airport New Horizon I cost?

The Nashville International Airport (BNA) New Horizon program is the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority's airside expansion following BNA Vision, now defined as New Horizon I: a baggage handling system improvement, the Concourse D Extension from 6 to 11 gates (opened on 8 July 2025), the reconstruction of Concourse A and the Central Ramp expansion, funded by MNAA and PFC-backed bonds, with the program started in October 2021 and completion planned for October 2028. The MNAA staff analysis of 14 August 2024 recommended a New Horizon I scope and budget of USD 1.62 billion, and the Authority's investor page still says approximately USD 1.62 billion, up from the USD 1,462,500,000 estimated in 2021 for the whole New Horizon concept.
