Bridge 路 Norway

How much did Old Sotra Bridge cost to build?

The Old Sotra Bridge (Sotrabrua) is the three-span suspension bridge over Vatlestraumen between Bergen and Sotra in Norway, with a main span of 463 to 468 m and a total length of 1,065 to 1,236 m, which replaced the Alvoen to Brattholmen ferry, was the country's longest bridge when it became operational on 11 December 1971 and was officially opened by King Olav V in May 1972. Bergen Byleksikon states that it cost about NOK 40 million, of which about NOK 23.5 million was covered by tolls collected until the autumn of 1983, the same as English Wikipedia.
