What is the contract value of Solar Electric Propulsion project?

The Power and Propulsion Element (PPE), NASA's solar electric propulsion spacecraft first planned as the opening module of the Lunar Gateway, is a roughly 5,000 kg spacecraft with about 60 kW of solar power, built by Maxar Technologies (now Lanteris Space Systems) under a firm-fixed-price contract awarded on 23 May 2019 worth up to USD 375 million. After NASA indefinitely suspended the Gateway in March 2026, the PPE was reported to be under construction for the nuclear-powered SR-1 Freedom mission, planned for launch in December 2028.
