How much did St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant cost to build?

The St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant on Hutchinson Island near Fort Pierce, Florida, operated by Florida Power & Light, has two units: Unit 1, with construction starting on 1 July 1970, and Unit 2, with construction starting on 2 June 1977 and commissioning in 1983. The US Energy Information Administration's 2010 State Nuclear Profile for Florida lists a construction cost of USD 4.614 billion in 2007 dollars, which EIA derived from a 1986 report by adjusting nominal costs with the consumer price index, so it is an inflation-adjusted figure for both units, not the historical amount spent.
