How much did the new Ion Oblemenco stadium in Craiova cost to build?
The Ion Oblemenco Stadium in Craiova, Romania, is the 30,929 to 30,983-seat home of CS Universitatea Craiova, rebuilt on the site of the old ground from 7 September 2015 and inaugurated on 10 November 2017 with a friendly against Slavia Prague, with the investment managed by the state's National Investment Company (CNI). Digi24 reported at the inauguration that the modernization cost EUR 52 million of European funds, while ProTV headlined that it cost almost EUR 60 million.
