How much did the original Sydney Football Stadium at Moore Park cost to build?
The Sydney Football Stadium (1988) was a rectangular football and rugby stadium at Moore Park, Sydney, designed by Philip Cox Richardson & Taylor and opened on 24 January 1988 as part of Australia's bicentennial celebrations. The Sydney Cricket and Sports Ground's own museum collection calls it 'the $68M SFS', acclaimed as one of the best rectangular stadiums in the world, matching the AUD 68 million in Wikipedia's infobox, while Wikidata's earlier figure was AUD 62 million. It was demolished from 2019 and replaced by the new Allianz Stadium.
