Stadium 路 United States

How much did the original Tampa Stadium cost to build in 1967?

Tampa Stadium (the Big Sombrero, later Houlihan's Stadium) was an open bowl stadium in Tampa, Florida, built for the University of Tampa football team after groundbreaking in 1966 by Jones-Mahoney Construction and opened on 4 November 1967 with 46,481 seats in its Wikipedia record, later expanded for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who played there from 1976 to 1997. It was demolished in 1999 after Raymond James Stadium replaced it. Wikipedia gives its original cost as USD 4.4 million, in line with the Tampa Sports Authority's USD 4,449,413.89 check for construction, while another site says USD 4.6 million and USD 13 million went on later renovations.
