How much did the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium cost to build?
Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London is the 62,850-seat home of Tottenham Hotspur, the largest club ground in London, built on the site next to the old White Hart Lane as the centrepiece of the Northumberland Development Project and designed for football and NFL games. It was built from 2016 and opened on 3 April 2019, eight months late. Wikipedia reports that just before opening chairman Daniel Levy put the cost at the order of GBP 1 billion and that in November 2020 he indicated GBP 1.2 billion, up from early estimates of GBP 350-400 million for the stadium itself, and no official audited figure was found.
