How much did Tri-State Airport cost to build?

Huntington Tri-State Airport (Milton J. Ferguson Field) is a commercial airport in Wayne County, West Virginia, serving Huntington, Ashland and Ironton, on about 1,300 acres with a single 7,017 by 150 ft runway; its first scheduled airline flights were Piedmont DC-3s around the end of 1952. The cost kept here is not the airport's construction but its improvement programme: the airport authority lists Airport Improvement Projects AIP 34 to AIP 52 from 2006 to 2014 totalling USD 39,226,015, of which USD 36.7 million was federal, USD 1.14 million state and USD 0.32 million local funding.
