Stadium 路 United States

How much did the original Bulldog Stadium (now Valley Children's Stadium) cost to build?

Valley Children's Stadium, called Bulldog Stadium until July 2022, is the football stadium of Fresno State on the corner of Cedar and Barstow in Fresno, California. It was built by community fundraising with a groundbreaking in June 1979 and opened for the season finale on 15 November 1980 with about 30,000 seats, later expanded to over 40,000 in 1991 and now 40,727. Wikipedia lists the original cost as USD 7.198 million, citing a 1979 newspaper report on the award of the construction bid; StadiumDB gives about USD 7 million.
