How much did the Vereina Tunnel on the Rhaetian Railway cost?

The Vereina Tunnel is a 19,042 m metre-gauge railway tunnel of the Rhaetian Railway from Klosters Selfranga to Sagliains in Graubünden, the longest metre-gauge railway tunnel in the world, which links the Prättigau and the Lower Engadine and carries car-shuttle trains through the mountains. The groundbreaking was held in 1991 and the tunnel opened on 19 November 1999. The Federal Office of Transport forecast the final cost of the Vereina line at about CHF 812 million in 1997, paid 85% by the Confederation and 15% by the canton, while the Rhaetian Railway today speaks of almost CHF 900 million including rolling stock.
