How much did William "Dick" Price Stadium cost to build?
William "Dick" Price Stadium is the 30,000-seat home of Norfolk State Spartans football on the southeast end of the Norfolk State University campus in Virginia, with a brick facade and an eight-lane rubberized track. Built in 1997 for $12.2 million, its first game drew a record 33,872 fans to a win over Virginia State, and its natural grass was replaced by artificial turf in 2018 in a $1.38 million project. It is named for Dick Price, the former athletics director and head football and track coach.
